JSR to establish a new subsidiary for Semiconductor Material Business in Singapore

JSR Corporation (Representative Director, CEO: Eric Johnson) has decided to establish a subsidiary in Singapore, "JSR Electronic Materials Singapore Pte. Ltd.”, to strengthen the sales and marketing activities of the Semiconductor materials business in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The operation is scheduled to start around December.
Major semiconductor companies, including foundries and OSATs*1 from Europe, the U.S.A, and Taiwan have large-scale fabs in Singapore. It is an important market where new business opportunities are expected not only for existing themes but also for new memories and power semiconductors.
We have been focusing on business in Singapore through the Singapore branch of JSR Micro N.V., which is our subsidiary in Europe. With the establishment of the subsidiary, we will strengthen our global semiconductor materials business collaboration and further enhance our marketing and customer support capabilities in the Southeast Asian region, leading to the expansion of our customer and product portfolio.

JSR Electronic Materials Korea to be a JSR Wholly Owned Subsidiary
SR Corporation (Representative Director, CEO: Eric Johnson, “JSR”) announced today that it has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire the 60% of shares held by PERI Corporation (“PERI”) and make JSR Electronic Materials Korea Co., Ltd. ("JEMK") a wholly owned subsidiary of JSR. JEMK is a joint venture between PERI and JSR, which is the sales agent/distributor of its Electronic Materials business in Korea.
